After excavation, form for footing is built

Footing is finished with Reinforcing rod and key-way in concrete

Concrete forms are set on cured footings

Reinforcing Rod is tied into existing concrete wall and forms are braced from both sides

Once concrete is cured, forms are pulled off. Tar is then applied to aid in water resistance.

A layer of stone is placed around footing, and foundation drain is installed around foundation.

More stone is placed around and above foundation drain and foundation is then back filled.

Treated sill plate is attatched to concrete with anchor bolts. Floor joists are framed in

and pre-drilled for wiring. Rigid foam is placed between joists for added insulation.

Bridging is installed before subfloor is glued and nailed.

Walls are framed up and sheathed with 1 inch rigid foam and 5/8 plywood.

Scafolding is set up around addition for added safety in putting truss in place.

Truss are in place and jack rafters are framed in, to tie into existing roof.

Fascia board is cut and installed .

Typar house wrap is placed on addition. Drip edge, as well as soffit, fascia, asphalt shingles

and valley flashing are all installed. Windows are in place as well as gable end vents.

The addition is ready for siding.

Addition is wired, insulated and 2x6 blocking is placed where kitchen cabinets

are to be fastened.

Recessed lights were installed and ceiling is straped. Sheet rock is screwed in place,

tape and compound is then applied to sheetrock joints.

Finished sheetrock is painted and kitchen cabinets begin installation.

Cabinets are installed.

Countertops are installed, floor is tiled, along with lights and window molding.

The interior is finished

Siding is on, and landscaping is finished. The addition is final.
